Starting Can Be Hard

Starting a business is like a woman giving birth. It is often a difficult, painful, messy, longer-than-expected process but very fulfilling. Bringing what starts as only a vision into reality takes much perseverance, prayer, perspective and patience. But with God’s help and guidance, all things are possible.

Page or Profile-Know the Difference

Know the Difference Between A Facebook Profile And A Facebook Page- Or you may face serious consequences

Could your business afford to be cut off from the largest social platform on the planet? I know mine couldn’t.

Both Profiles and Pages are powerful FREE products provided to us by Facebook. They can be used to grow your business. But using them in ways that violate Facebook’s Terms of Service (TOS) will get your account shut down or restricted.

Read the full TOS here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms

A Facebook Profile is designed for your personal, noncommercial use. It should use your real name. You may use parts of your profile (for example, your Intro and featured images) to showcase your business links and professional background but the primary role of the Profile is a personal one. Each individual may have only one personal profile.

DO NOT CREATE A PERSONAL PROFILE FOR YOUR BUSINESS.

A business Page is designed to be used for commercial purposes. Pages are public. They may not be misleading in any way.

Choose the category for your Page carefully when you are setting it up. You may or may not be approved to change this later.

Get your Page verified. This will help to protect you from future problems and will make your Page appear higher in search results as a bonus.

Stay informed, even if you hire someone to help you with social media. Make sure the one you hire is staying informed as well.

Website Optimization

Your website is your online representative, the ambassador for your business. Now is the time to evaluate your website’s appearance and effectiveness. According to several studies I reviewed, here are the top trends ??for business websites in 2016:

-✅Mobile first- more people will access your site on mobile than desktop. Major players are optimizing their sites to br viewed on mobile.

-✅Interactive- from light boxes to quizzes, getting visitors to engage on your website increases lead capture.

-✅Easy contact- interactive chat boxes or phone call widgets that allow visitors to instantly get questions answered and objectives addressed increase on-site conversions.

  1. No matter how up-to-date your site is, it is never too late to fix it. . Ask for constructive criticism about your visitor’s site experience.
